Yoram Shiv co-founded Sharir, Shiv & Co. in 1996, bringing considerable experience from his previous practice in leading Israeli firms.
Yoram specializes in corporate and securities law, as well as commercial transactions. Yoram’s primary practice areas include venture capital transactions (representing start ups, funds and fund limited partners), mergers and acquisitions, venture lending, publicly traded companies, ongoing representation of start-up and mature corporate clients, corporate governance matters, employment related matters (including aspects relating to the change of employers in mergers and acquisitions) and due diligence examinations. Yoram’s commercial experience includes, among other matters, enterprise software licensing agreements. He has broad experience in representing foreign clients doing business in Israel. Yoram also handles various corporate and commercial dispute resolution matters for the firm’s corporate clients. Yoram’s experience also includes media and advertising purchase agreements as well as data transfer, protection and regulation.
Yoram received his LL.B. from Tel Aviv University in 1992. He was an Assistant Lecturer of Corporate Law at the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law between 1991 and 1994 and has lectured for four years at this faculty a course in investments in hi-tech start-ups. He has been a member of the Israel Bar Association since 1993.
